Yesterday someone ended their life. Around 3pm in the afternoon, my boss got a call that his younger brother (23 yrs old) was missing. The police had found his car on some private property about 30 minutes from his home. They also found his wallet and phone in the car. My boss left not too long after with all the guys in our office to form search parties in an effort to find him. After a long day of searching, they continued this morning, only to find his body after he had committed suicide. It makes me think how fragile life and how much we can affect other people. Im not sure exactly what his life was like but I know that it makes me want to be kinder to the people I know and friendlier to even the people I dont. This experience makes me grateful to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me and in that way, I never feel alone. Just a thought, life is fragile.

I just read every word of your blog, and I'll continue to eat it up. This post is tragic, death is so final (or I guess it feels final to those of us still here).
Amanda!
Such a sobering post. I don't know what to say!
But... I did want to lighten things up by mentioning your comment on my blog! I about fell off of my chair with laughter when I read your message! And I do remember you dating him! I was like his fist date(s) off his mission, so he wass still figuring things out. Still- funny coincidence!
We definitely found better guys in the end :)
