We had another busy weekend, I wonder if life will ever slow down so we can relax?! Last weekend I got the news that a friend from some friends of ours from Washington were in a horrible car accident last Sunday driving back to Provo from Thanksgiving break. There were 5 people in the car but only 4 survived. Ashley Hansen was 22 years old and died on the scene. She was an amazing young women whom I always looked up to for her spirituality and strength. Her life was too short but we know that because of the life she lived, she is in a better place with our Savior now. After attending her funeral in Orem, UT on Friday, our cousin Brooks Biddle stopped by on his way down to Arizona. He stayed for 2 nights and went hiking with Braden on Friday right before our snow started! Thats right! We got 8 inches over the weekend and unlike Washington, its hasnt melted yet! Its beautiful to see the trees looking like a winter-wonderland! I'll try to post some snow pics later. After Brooks left Saturday morning, we went to out friend Katie Haven's wedding! She was a beautiful bride and it was great to see her family, our good friends! Her brother Kyle and his wife Rachel Haven's came down and we we SUPER excited to see them! They were our engaged/married couple we hung out with back home and we really missed them! After the reception we came back to ur place to change and then went bowling (I beat Braden:)! Then we went to dinner at Kyle's favorite place, Red Robin, for clucks and fries! We will miss them but hope to see them again at Christmas time! Sunday Braden had Elders Quorum meetings and I prepared my Relief Society lesson and fast and testimony meeting was great! After church we spent the evening at some friends house so Braden could play their Wii and decide if thats what we want to buy for Christmas! It was a fun weekend, but now, back to the grind!
Dinner at Red Robin with Kyle and Rachel Havens, their cousin (cant remember his name), Colin Havens, Lauren Havens and her boyfriend Ryan, Braden and Amanda
Brooks and Braden in the mountains, you can see it starting to blizzard!
Amanda and Braden on a hike the day after Thanksgiving, its so beautiful up the canyon and it was a really great hike! Straight up and straight down! This is from one of the peaks.
