We've been tagged...again

This tag is a little different (it's about couples) and it's a slow day at work so why not! Here goes!


~Spouses Name? Braden, B-rad, Brady, Hamm Daddy (depends on who you talk to, I'll call him honey most often)

~How long have we been together? Since September 2006

~How long did we date? Arent we still? Officially we dated for 4 months, engaged for 3 months (why wait?). So yeah, we did the fast track courtship but it's been bliss ever since.

~How old is he? Just turned 23

~Who eats more? I'm going to have to say me. In reality I know that he COULD eat more than me he just has more self control when it comes to sensible eating so I end up eating a little more. Lately with the morning/all day sickness though, I haven't kept up.

~Who said I love you first? Definetely Braden but I think it was a forced one until he really did fall in love with me, here's the story. I met Braden when I returned from my mission in 2006. We started dating a little but he knew that I had a "missionary" who was returning from his mission in November 2006. We were having a great time and I really was falling for him but I knew that I would be torn when my missionary did return. So the weekend before he was to come home, Braden and I were out on a great date and came back to watch a movie at my parents house and we started talking about my missionary who was coming home in a few days. Later that night he told me he loved me and yes, I told him back (I think he just said it to get it in there before said missionary returned). Needless to say when my friend came home, the sparks were not there because I knew I had already found the one.

~Who is taller? When neither of us has shoes on he has about an inch on me but with shoes ( which are required in some places :) its anybody's guess who is taller.

~Who sings better? No question...ME!

~Who is smarter? Now someone could get in a lot of trouble answering this question if the spouse felt differently, but I would say we both have areas we are smarter in. When it comes to technology and music and anything artistic, Braden takes the cake. When it comes to household stuff, insurances (anything Math related), everyday life stuff, I'd say its me.

~Who does the laundry? Well thats a team effort. Over the summer when we had a W/D in our apartment, I did it (thats also because he was working sometimes 12 hour days) but now that we have a coin-op in the basement of our complex (yay college!) we both do! He's great!

~Who pays the bills? I do. I love math and money. Wierd huh?

~Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? That would be me. And why is that so important anyways, and how did having a "side" of the bed come about?

~Who mows the lawn? Our lawn company guys but when we have a house, I'm positive it will be Braden.

~Who cooks dinner? Again, team effort. Sometimes he will cook (especially while I've been pregnant) but more often it will be me because he works and goes to school, I enjoy cooking for him though!

~Who drives? Pretty much Braden, once in a blue moon me.

~Who is more stubborn? I'd say we both are because I see the stubborness in him sometimes but he would DEFINETELY say it's me. Most of the time I would agree.

~Who kissed who first? He kissed me in the front seat of his car after a moonlight walk through the park behind my parents house. It took him a while to muster the courage (it was the first kiss for both of us since being missionaries so it was bound to be awkward) but after I gave him the "go ahead" eyes, he made his move and it was great!

~Who asked who out first? Haha, he asked me out. He was too nervous to ask me for my number at church so he got it out of the church directory and called me on a saturday afternoon! I was shocked to say the least but very flattered because I had my eye on him for some time.

~Who proposed? Braden, he surprised me the night before my birthday by taking me to a water tower that we had climbed on our second date. We had always wanted to go back and make it more romantic (we weren't even touching or hugging on our second date) so he took me there and once we climbed to the top, he got down on his knee and propsed! Of course I cried and said YES!

~Who is more sensitive? Me to the bad things and sappy movies but he is very sensitive to my needs and what makes me happy.

~Who has more siblings? Braden by one.

~Who wears the pants? It's a tie but I think that might change when baby comes along. We'll see how this little miracle changes some of these answers!

It's funny reading back over this, we are such newlyweds! I'll definetely do this again next fall after baby #1 to see how different it will be! I'm not going to officially tag anyone, but if anyone feels like doing it (got a half hour to spare) let me know, I would love to read it!
