Sunday came as an even more beautiful day than Saturday. Saturday consisted of alot of driving to the different sites in Arches and going on short .5 mile hikes. There was a 4.5 mile hike that we saved for Sunday out to Devils Garden. We had to check out by 11am and then we headed back to Arches. We donned some sunscreen on Sunday because without realizing it, we got a little burned from the day before! We got to the trailhead at about 11:30am, packed our hiking backpacks with TONS of water and lunch and headed out. It was undescribeably beautiful! It was hotter than Saturday so I made sure to drink plenty of water every few minutes for fear of dehydration and hurting the baby. 4 1/2 hours later when we returned to the car I was so surprised by how good I still felt. We went on some pretty primitave hikes and some steap hills but I just felt so good the whole time. My main worry was that I wouldnt be able to finish the whole hike and therefore ruin some of Bradens fun but we were blessed and had a great time! We met some fun people along the trail, most were surprised that I was out there at almost 6 months pregnant, and those with screaming kids were telling us that that was what we had to look forward too! Overall, it was a great anniversary weekend. We know that next years anniversary will be alot different, no going away for a weekend so we're glad we got to do it now! Overall, we loved it and highly recommend the Arches National Park for if your ever in Utah. We're planning to go to Zions and Bryce Canyon later this summer!

The Fiery Furnance
This is the most delicate arch in the park. In 1991 a 60 foot piece fell one day and a hiker was there to capture pics of the whole thing. The arch spans the length of a football field. It was really neat and Braden's favorite.
Braden showing his muscles trying to force this rock of the path :)
We had to walk along this and other really high narrow rock walls on our hike. There was not trail really, just follow footprints and little rock piles that were there to mark the way.
