In need of an Overhaul!

I think I am at that stage in my pregnancy where A) none of my clothes fit me anymore and I feel sad and B) I feel frumpy, not pretty, plain, homey, etc everyday. I miss feeling like I look good sometimes! I try to do my hair and put on some makeup but it doesnt seem to help. I think what I need is a Great, Fantastic, Stylish, Wow haircut! Ladies, dont we always feel better after a great haircut?! I also need to do some shopping for maternity clothes since my pre-pregnancy clothes no longer fit. I tried to stay in them as long as possible and with a few exceptions they are just not cutting it anymore! I hate spending so much money on clothes I will only be wearing for 15 more weeks but then again I can save them for the next baby. Moms out there... inexpensive maternity clothes suggestions?? Thanks for letting me vent! I already feel better just planning my haircut :)

I loved Motherhood Maternity, they have great clothes & are not expensive at all. Also, check out Target's Liz Lange Maternity section, you are sure to find some great buys there. I found the stuff shrank a bit, so hang it to dry. Or spend a few extra dollars & get better quality stuff, like at Motherhood. Good luck!

oh, and p.s. I think every woman goes through feeling "frumpy" during pregnancy. Don't worry, you are beautiful! Treat yourself to a pedicure or something to help you feel sexier.

Oh girl, you are not alone! I feel fat and frumpy everyday and as pretty as I try to make myself, it just doesn't work. I have bought lots of stuff at Old Navy. I read that someone suggested Motherhood and they always have cute things. You can also buy shirts at DownEast Outfitters. The shirts they have are really long and extra stretchy. They just have plain shirts but for ten bucks a pop it's not a bad deal. Don't feel bad about feeling frumpy...... everyone goes through it and I don' think it ends until the pregnancy is over. Bummer.

Do something for yourself!!! Get a hair cut, mani-pedi, massage, whatever it takes! Even when you aren't pregnant you will still have those days as a mom and it's so important to feel good!! And go get some cute maternity clothes. It definitely helps... especially a cute dress that makes you feel as feminine as possible. But really, enjoy being pregnant. It only lasts so long and you are absolutely adorable!!!!! ;)

Well you already know I chopped my hair off during this pregnancy and it felt great! Still does! And seriously, maternity clothes these days are sooo cute, and since you will be wearing them every time it's worth it. I don't know if they have it in Provo, but I love the store Motherhood. They always seem to have clothes that are on sale or clearance that are still way cute. Or you can buy the expensive stuff. I highly recommend their new maternity pants. Can't remember what they're called. And hey, something I wish I knew the first time around: Don't keep wearing your stretchy skirts thinking they will fit. I did that. I had a few skirts that I kept wearing through the whole pregnancy cause I thought that because of their elastic stretchy waist I'd be fine. Well no. They are ruined. Totally stretched out and can't wear them anymore(unless of course I'm prenant!). Anyways, I think this was quite long enough. Hope it helped some. =)
