We had a BBQ 3 days in a row last weekend! We were in Seattle for 5 days and 3 of those evening were family BBQ's. We are not complaining because all the food was wonderful and Amanda favored the corn on the cob alot! Saturday afternoon we went to the Hamm's for a family BBQ with some of Bradens family. It was great to see Gma and Gpa Hamm, Robb and Heather and kids, and Chris and Rebecca and their girls. We stayed up late chatting with everyone and finally made our way home around 11pm. Most nights that weekend were late ones for me because Im usually in bed by 10 or 10:30pm but it was worth it!
The next afternoon after church we had a family gathering at my parents house for another yummy BBQ! This time Braden and I were the main dish chefs and spoiled our family with some gooood BBQ ribs. It was such a beautiful afternoon so we spent most of the time outside with the kids. We set up the small pool and slide for them while Braden played with them with the watering hose. He is so wonderful with them and I know this reflects on how he will be as a dad. Im so excited to see him interact with our son (dont get me started or I might cry)! Here's some of the water fun pics!
Monday, Memorial Day, we headed up to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Covington for another BBQ. They had most of their kids and grandkids in town and it was packed for sure! We had delicous hamburgers and hot dogs, a baseball game in the park and more time with babies! After our day there we headed to the airport to fly home (sad face) but I think by this time we were ready. We were so pooped from our long weekend, late nights and all the excitement that exhausted us! Thank you to everyone who made this trip so much fun for us! We wont see many of you again until we come up in October with our new baby so thank you for all you have done for us! We miss you all already!
