Last week we had our good friends Kyle and Rachael in town for Kyle's sister Lauren's wedding. They came into town earlier in the week to celebrate their one year anniversary (Happy 1st Guys!) and stayed up in Park City. We drove up there on Tuesday to eat dinner and watch the new Indiana Jones movie. I have to admit that the movie was pretty good (really cheesy in some parts but isn't Harrison Ford like 60 some years old?) Then on Thursday they came down to our place for a night of Cafe Rio and the LOST season finale. Then on Saturday we went to Lauren's reception, it was beautiful and great to see the whole Havens family. After the reception we all headed up to Ogden where they have this place called FlowRider. It's a simulated wakeboarding place and it was so much fun! I wish that I could have done more than just film and take pictures but with my big belly and watching how hard they fall it would not have been smart. The guys were really good and I wish I knew how to upload a video because I got some great footage of the guys. It was so great to spend a few days with Kyle and Rachael and see Rachaels growing baby bump (she's about 15 weeks)! Hopefully we'll get to do more fun stuff like this before the baby comes (at least fun for Braden:)
Braden
PS- There was only one casualty where Braden got hit in the forehead with his board. After his turn, the board got stuck on the top of the thing and when Braden went to grab it, it came loose and the powerful wave shot it straight up and it hit him really hard. At first he was fine and then when he started to take a step he kind of faltered for a second. He was completely ok except for the awesome goose egg he now sports. Hope you can see it in the pics!
This was taken about an hour after so it has gone down some.
Sideways view, normally his eyebrow bone does not stick out that much!

Looks painful! Glad you're enjoying your last few weeks of freedom. Life changes dramatically when the baby arrives, but it is so rewarding.
looks awesome!
The flowrider looks like so much fun! And a big OW! for the goose egg he got!
That place looks awesome! What an interesting idea.
