Whew! Life has been so busy these last 4 weeks! I cant believe we have been here for a month already. Crazy. We have been so busy seeing family and friends and have finally slowed down to the point where we feel like we are actually living here instead of on vacation. Today was the first Sunday where we didnt have plans after church so we came home, had a nice leisurely dinner, took a walk as a family and are relaxing while Mason is napping. Oh blessed day! Most of you know that I have been working part time for my dad in his office to pay our bills while Braden is working at his internship. Its going really well and is great because I take Mason with me. He has a whole room there that they cleared out for him so he has lots of toys, a tv, and a port-a-crib for naps. I am looking for a love seat to put in there as well so if anyone has one or knows of someone that is getting rid of a cheap one than just holler! Other than being extremely busy, life is really good to us. I love my boys so much and am excited every day to see what fun we will have and what memories we will make. Here's a few of the things that we have been up to:
Before we left Provo we went to alot of graduation parties-here we are after celebrating Cerise's graduation at Los Hermanos (yum I will miss that place)
Bed head-We are growing our Masons hair and now this is what it looks like after nap time!
COUSINS! This is the reason we were most excited about moving back to WA-FAMILY! We missed our family so much and couldnt wait for Mason to get to know everyone. We spent Rebeccas (Bradens sister) birthday with her and the girls at a park playing games and riding bikes. While Mason and Alice were in the bike stroller behind Opa, Mason started invading Alice's space. She wasnt too happy but it was terribly cute!
For Memorial Day we spent time at my parents with Jan and Lindas family (minus Jan and Linda). My cousin Gretchen who I was closest too growing up, has a son who is 4 months older than Mason. We have been looking forward to the time that we could finally get them together to play and now we can! Woo hoo! They played long and hard all Memorial day and by the end of the day they were filthy. We stuck them in the bath together and now we have blackmail shots for life! Sorry guys.
Center of Attention-Mason has been really happy to have most of the focus on him lately (as if it ever wasnt). He loves being here at Bob and Janes and always having Oma and Opa doting on him. He is having the time of his life with his cousins wherever he goes and I have a feeling he will always strive to be the center of everyones attention.
Mason turned 9 months old on May 20th! WOW how time flies! Among his many previous accomplishments he is still growing and progressing each day! He is SUPER busy, always on the move from the minute he wakes up to the minute he goes to bed. He has 8 teeth now, will be walking soon, always has to be standing, LOVES to talk and sing songs, eats everything you put in front of him (so be careful). His favorite things to play with are paper and cords and still is big on nursing at night and in the morning and once or twice throughout the day. I cant believe how big he is getting and can you believe that I am thinking I might want another one soon! But for now he keeps me busy...
