Recent Happs

Adventures in eating! Mason doesnt like to eat baby food, he wants to eat foods like whole carrots, whole green beans, crackers and other things he can feed himself. Its rather cute to watch and he really will eat anything but on days like this one here you can see why its not always fun. I recently bought him this great bib with a scoop on the bottom to catch his food and its cute to watch him when he thinks all his food is gone and he looks down and discovers there is still some in his bib! Oh yeah, and what you think might be a bleeding cut on top of his head is actually a strawberry, dont know how that got there!

Mason just started to enjoy being read to. He used to not sit still long enough and just wanted to tear the pages out of the books but recently when Jane reads to him, he'll sit still and enjoy it. It helps to calm him down for bed too!

We spent sometime at Kyle and Rachaels house last weekend at the beach and in the kiddie pool. We had a great dinner and lots of good conversation. Thanks for hosting and being so wonderful guys!



Mukilteo Beach! Robb and Heather and fam were up here a few weekends ago and we decided to venture out to Mukilteo beach for a day. It had been beautiful all week and so of course when we got there on Saturday it turned gross and windy and even rained for a few seconds. We flew a kite, went on the swings, ate our lunch and got out of there!







First major owie! I cant remember exactly how this one happened but it was the biggest one he has had yet!




Mason won't sit anymore! This kid loves to stand and walk around the furniture and sometimes it makes it hard to get him to do something i.e. change his diaper, take a bath, eat, nurse etc. It is cute to see him walking so fast and exploring everything!
