My baby is 11 months old today! Crazy! Everytime I look at him I am filled with so much love and pride for my son. He brings me so many smiles and memories and I often think "What did we do with with our time before he came along?" because we spend every night playing with him and loving on this little boy of ours. Here are a few of his latest achievments:
*He started walking 2 weeks ago! He's not great at it yet but he takes every chance he can to walk.
*His first word is Uh-Oh when he drops something (yeah thats a fun one)
*Still has only 8 teeth, he's been stuck there for about 4 months :)
*Still loves to nurse, I am never going to be able to wean this kid
*Loves to eat whatever we are eating which is hard because we're still not feeding him wheat or sugar but we can substitute other things and he is proud thinking he's eating what we are!
*Can crawl all the way up the stairs but NOT down yet
*LOVES his cousins and would follow them around all day if he could
*Talks ALL the time, in the car, in his bed at night, all over the house just gabbing away
*Likes to show off some tricks we have taught him (high five, kisses, waving hi and bye-bye, showing how big he is with arms held high in the air etc)
*Plays catch with a ball (or any other object that he can throw)
*Likes to grab peoples glasses (so beware if you hold him)
*Has no material items he is attached too which is good and bad
*LOVES LOVES LOVES his daddy and especially their nightime rituals (bathime, storytime and putting down to bed-I get him dressed and nurse him and read together)
*He's pretty much the cutest thing EVER and I am already thinking about #2 but can't fathom loving someone the way I love this boy of mine!
I love this picture because even though he is getting SO big, he still sleeps like a baby!

I was worried too when I had my 2nd but Drew was born and I sure did love him!
Have fun this week.. I hear it's supposed to be pretty hot there!
what a doll...#2 huh??!? I rememberthinking the same thing wondering how I could love someone as much as I loved Madi...but now I know that it is possible! Its not like you have to share your heart...but that your heart gets bigger! Kids are the best!
He is so adorable! I love reading the milestones. I was just looking at mine and thinking time rushes by so much faster with the second because your time is divided. It's so wonderful to read about parents who treasure time with their little one. And there's still so much wonderful stuff to come!
Oh my goodness that is so adorable how he's sleeping. What a cutie! I felt the same way while pregnant with Sydney. I didn't know how I could love someone as much as David. But as soon as there there, you do!
