OK, so its 8:30am and I have 30 minutes before Mason wakes up. Breakfast (sunday sticky buns made from rhodes rolls) are in the oven and smelling good! I thought I would give a little update on us since I haven't written in FOREVER! Alot has happened to us:
*Mason is almost 14 months old and keeps us on our toes. He is currently into climbing into/onto anything he can. It's fun to watch and scary at the same time. He is talking a lot and learning new words all the time. My current favorite word that isn't momma, or dadda, or something along those lines is.....cracker! It's so cute when he says cracker and points at the counter where the goldfish crackers or cheerios are! It's so strange when this REAL word comes out of his mouth so randomly. He is getting so big, running all over the place. His favorite game is hide and seek and tickle monster (pretty much anything his daddy does is his favorite)! He brings so much joy into our lives, peace into our home and love in our hearts!
*Braden finished up his internships over the summer and we began the job hunting process. NOT EASY! It was very hard for us to find something, anthing! So he began doing freelance web design privately. It's been going well and we are happy so far.
*WE MOVED! We moved a week ago to North Seattle to manage this great apartment complex. We just couldn't pass up the opportunity! We had been looking a little and applied at some different places and when this one called us back we were ecstatic. Its a GREAT apartment, GREAT location (so close to downtown, good restaurants, the library, fun parks, shopping!), GREAT compensation and GREAT owners. All in all it will allow me to stay home more with Mason and for us to start chipping away at those blasted student loans. Come visit us in about 2 weeks when everything is unpacked! Haha!
So those are the big things. We have had a great summer, lots of playing at the park, playing with cousins, friends, bbq-ing, seeing Seattle, working, working, working and looking forward to what comes next!

Now you are making me all nostalgic from when we lived downtown Seattle! Such a kid friendly city with so much to do! Hard to believe your little man is a year now! Good luck getting settled in and enjoy the beautiful autumn season.
It's great to get an update! Mason sounds delightful. Good luck on the job hunting. I remember those days -- although it was a very long, long time ago.
What a great opportunity to manage aprtments...Brady and I looked into that but there isnt very much available in our area! Its crazy how fast they grow, huh?!?! Miss you tons and wish I could come visit your new place!
