Another Conference Weekend

We had a great time at General Conference this past weekend. Braden's parents came down to Salt Lake to visit family and we stayed with them in their hotel from Thursday night to Sunday night! Its crazy but it was so nice to be out of Provo!! Friday the guys went skiing/snowboarding at Brighton and had a GREAT time! Braden has been looking forward to snowboarding all year but its so expensive, so thanks Bob and Jane for treating him! Jane and I did some shopping while they were gone and hit up almost every Old Navy we could find untill we found one with a maternity section. I treated myself to a few things (including a really cute maternity swim suit) and had a great time just driving around and talking with Jane all day. Friday night we were both able to attend our individual mission reunions and had a lot of fun. The rest of the weekend we spent watching conference, eating, swimming and sleeping. We did get tickets to the Saturday morning session which in my opinion was so special as we were able to participate LIVE in the sustaining of President Monson. What great talks were given and life changing decsions to be made in order to follow some of the counsel given. I think it was also really special for us because as they talked about family and parents, we felt like this time they were talking to us and we know we have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders coming in 4 months. I am so grateful that we are able to listen to a Prophet of God and know that he teaches us what the Lord directs him too.
