Luckiest Girl I Am!

Let me preface by saying that I am so in love with my husband at this very moment! Mason hasn't been feeling well these past few days. He doesn't nap well during the day unless I am holding him, wont let me put him down when he's awake and is constantly wanting to nurse. I don't think he is colic because he's not crying, just fussy so I think it's just a phase. Anyways, I wasn't able to take a nap yesterday due to him not laying down on his own and I am SO tired! Mason did pretty well last night until about 4:30 when I had to rock him back to sleep. When he woke up again at 6 (half an hour early) Braden got up without me asking him or saying anything and went to rock him back to sleep. I told him that Mason needed to eat in about half an hour and to wake me up when he started fussing. Next thing I know its 7:45am and I wake up to Masons cry on the monitor! Braden was leaving for work and I had gotten a solid hour and 45 minutes of sleep! I don't know how he got Mason back to sleep and then a full hour past his feeding time but I was so grateful! I have the best, most loving husband who is a great newborn daddy! When I got up to get Mason I made a pit stop to go to the bathroom and this is what I saw...



2 years ago today was our first date and it's been bliss ever since. If someone had told me on this day 2 years ago that I would be married to the most wonderful man and have a beautiful baby with him today I would have said their crazy but alas, my life is a fairy tale. To Braden if you read this, I love you so much and am so grateful for you. Thank you for giving me a beautiful son and a wonderful life. Here's to many more years of bliss!
